Gill Fort is currently the member for Leeds ward and was first elected to the post in May 2015. She has recently been re-elected in May 2024 and is looking forward to being able to once again represent the residents of Leeds and Langley ward.
Gill has lived in Leeds since 1997 having moved from London to bring her family up, attracted by the great environment and the high standard of the local schools. Both her daughter’s were educated in Maidstone.
Gill is an active member of Leeds Parish Council and has been so for 20 plus years being chairman for some of that time.
Gill is concerned how the building of homes in the south east of Maidstone will impact on the parishes she represents. She has for many years been a champion of a Leeds Langley relief Road.
