Cllr Val Springett attended the Classic Cars on Bearsted Green and stopped to speak to and congratulate Duncan Edwards from the Maidstone Cycle Campaign Forum who had set up a secure cycle storage area for the event.
This storage enabled environmentally friendly methods of travel to be used to get to the event, with cyclists confident in the knowledge that their bikes were safe whilst they enjoyed the day.
Val supports active travel and realises the importance of cyclists having somewhere safe to store their bikes when they reach their destination, she said "what a great idea Duncan."
